This report describes the general architecture of the system represented in the attached diagram. The system is based on an\u00a0ESP-WROOM-32 (ESP32 DevKit V1), which acts as the central processing unit (CPU), managing data acquisition, storage, and communication with the ground station.<\/p>\n

Main Components<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Sensors:<\/u>\n
      \n
    • BNO055: Orientation sensor that integrates a magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope, connected via the\u00a0I2C protocol.<\/li>\n
    • GY-MS5837-30BA: Pressure and temperature sensor, used in two instances within the system.<\/li>\n
    • ZP5210: Sensor responsible for measuring liquid levels, also connected via\u00a0I2C.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Telemetry Module:<\/u>\n
        \n
      • The\u00a0RFD900X\u00a0is used, a long-range (40 km) radio module operating in the\u00a0915 MHz band, enabling data transmission via\u00a0UART\u00a0to the ground station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Storage:<\/u>\n
          \n
        • A\u00a0microSD card-based storage unit\u00a0is incorporated, communicating with the ESP32 via the\u00a0SPI protocol, to log data in case of communication loss.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Power Supply:<\/u>\n
            \n
          • A 3.7V, 2800mAh Li-Po battery is used, ensuring system autonomy during operation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            System Operation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

            The\u00a0ESP32\u00a0acquires data from the sensors through the\u00a0I2C bus, processes it, and sends it in real-time to the ground station via the\u00a0RFD900X module. Simultaneously, it stores the data on the\u00a0microSD card\u00a0for backup. The system is designed to operate under extreme conditions, enabling remote monitoring in aerospace or experimental applications.<\/p>\n\n\n
