One of the most significant advancements in this field is the ability to apply <strong data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"297\">computational fluid dynamics (CFD)<\/strong> to optimize and validate designs with precision, enabling us to understand and predict the behavior of complex systems that would otherwise be difficult to represent in a physical model.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"488\" data-end=\"836\">Within a <strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"529\">cell culture in microgravity<\/strong>, fluid behavior follows a <strong data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"583\">rotating biphasic model<\/strong>. Accurately capturing the <strong data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"675\">interface and the dynamics of low CO\u2082 concentrations in water<\/strong> is essential. To achieve this, implementing an appropriate <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"755\">multiphase model<\/strong>, considering viscosity effects and activating <strong data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"821\">surface tension<\/strong>, is crucial.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"838\" data-end=\"1272\">Furthermore, <strong data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"867\">mesh quality<\/strong> plays a fundamental role in simulations. Localized meshing must be applied in critical regions to analyze <strong data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1014\">stresses and concentration gradients<\/strong>, minimizing <strong data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1046\">cellular stress<\/strong>. Additionally, the <strong data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1095\">numerical solution method<\/strong> used in <strong data-start=\"1104\" data-end=\"1113\">ANSYS<\/strong> must be carefully tailored to the specific phenomenon under study, avoiding <strong data-start=\"1190\" data-end=\"1231\">numerical diffusion and instabilities<\/strong> that could lead to inaccurate results.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1572\">These steps not only ensure the reliability of the model but also reflect a commitment to <strong data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1396\">best computational practices<\/strong>. Applying the correct methods and models is not just a technical requirement but the key to successfully achieving our goals of <strong data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1569\">optimization, validation, and prediction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1829\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This type of <strong data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1664\">innovation brings us closer to understanding life in extreme environments<\/strong>, paving the way for <strong data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1765\">breakthroughs in biotechnology, space exploration, and regenerative medicine<\/strong>.
